IHH Joins Global Dialogue on the

Future of Healthcare Services

Advances in AI, robotics, digital health, telehealth and digital pathology are transforming how care is delivered, making it easier for patients to access expertise and services in new ways.

Speaking at the World Trade Organization Public Forum on the future of services trade, our Group CEO Dr Prem Kumar Nair shared how these shifts are reshaping healthcare and highlighted the importance of frameworks that support both safe cross-border access to care and the secure portability of health information.

For a global healthcare network, this presents an opportunity to connect patients to the right expertise, innovation and care across markets while continuing to uphold the highest standards of patient safety, privacy and clinical quality.
The path forward is clear: making care more connected, accessible and seamless for patients wherever they may be.

Smarter Hospitals, More Time for Care

📍  Singapore

Across a busy hospital, every minute counts. From coordinating admissions and patient transfers to managing bed availability and operating theatre schedules, healthcare teams must navigate complex workflows to ensure patients receive timely, coordinated care. Through the implementation of its Patient Intelligence Centre (PIC), IHH Singapore estimates that it is saving approximately 31,000 hours of administrative and operational effort annually, reducing the time spent gathering, validating and coordinating information across multiple systems and stakeholders.

The platform, now implemented across all four IHH Singapore hospitals, represents an important step in transforming how hospital teams access information and make operational decisions.

Looking ahead, IHH Singapore plans to expand the platform's capabilities to encompass areas such as radiology operations, workforce attendance, pharmacy workflows and patient acuity management. IHH is taking another step towards delivering better care, for more people.
